For the top 20 examinees of the MSU SASE, there are 3 scholarships available at the various Mindanao State University campuses.
Science Scholarship
This fully paid scholarship is awarded to top examinees of the MSU SASE who applied to courses under pure and applied sciences. Applicants’ courses must fall under the Colleges of Agriculture, Engineering, Fisheries, Forestry, Natural Science and Mathematics, Information Technology, Health Science (including Ecotourism), and some related Education courses.
Grade maintenance must be a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.20 or higher.
Successful scholars enjoy the following privileges:
- PHP 1,000 monthly stipend
- Free tuition and other school fees
- Free dormitory accommodation
- PHP 400 book allowance per semester (subject to liquidation)
- Lab allowance per semester
- Roundtrip transportation allowance from MSU to home once per year
- Personal accident insurance coverage
Academic Scholarship
Secondly, this fully paid scholarship is awarded to the next top examinees of the MSU SASE enrolling in non-priority courses. Grade maintenance is also a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.20 or higher.
Academic scholars enjoy these privileges:
- PHP 750 monthly stipend
- Free tuition and other school fees
- Free dormitory accommodation
- PHP 200 textbook allowance per semester for 1st and 2nd-year scholars, and PHP 500 for 3rd, 4th, and 5th-year scholars (subject to liquidation)
- Roundtrip transportation allowance from MSU to home once per year
- Personal accident insurance coverage
Special Muslim Study Grant
Finally, this fully paid scholarship is awarded to top Muslim examinees of the MSU SASE who have also attended and passed the Mindanao State University summer College Bound Program (CBP). The summer CBP is an 8-week preparatory program for Muslim and Mindanao students.
Grade maintenance must be a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or higher.
