Local and International Schools Offering Gender and Women’s Studies

The role of women in society has indeed changed throughout the years. More and more avenues are being opened to highlight the importance of women’s economic impact and influence.

Education, more importantly, has played a great contribution to these advancements. Different institutions have been offering degrees focused on women’s and gender studies to put more context in the discussion and to help push forward women’s movement. Gender studies is an interdisciplinary subject that focuses on the complex interaction of gender and sexuality with other areas like society, nation, race, ethnicity, history, cinema or media.
