Do You Want to Be an Entrepreneur

Having your own business is the dream! Being your own boss, setting your own priorities, working at your own pace, growing your own business – what more can you ask for? Nice to dream about, difficult to start, though.

There’s no one formula to being an Entrepreneur and starting your own business. No one way to start it. But starting on something is better than not doing anything! Here are some movies that may interest you, books that can inspire you, and a game where you can hone some skills!

Movies:

The Startup Kids: Every business began as a startup at one point. Question is, how do you get from being worth pennies to billions? Here is a documentary on young tech entrepreneurs sharing their startup success and how it all started.

Silicon Valley: A comedy series about a tech developer hitting it big with his powerful search algorithm. Richard in caught between putting up his own startup and challenge tech giants or taking an eight-figure dollar buyout.

Glengarry Glen Ross: Nobody said being an entrepreneur is going to be easy. The business world can be rather cruel and vicious and this is something you will experience whether you’re a salesperson, a manager, or even the CEO (probably even more so). Check out this movie and see just how brutal the corporate world can get and be ready for it!
