According to CHED, there are 13 disciplines that you should check when knowing what are the in-demand courses. These contain various courses and tracks that you need to consider when looking for the right course for you. Here are the in-demand courses until the year of 2018.
- When should I apply for college?
Apply to colleges and universities as early as possible. Some colleges and universities have application deadline that you should follow. This is because they have specific entrance examination dates. Meanwhile, there are also schools that offer year-long applications.
- How do I choose the right school for me?
There are so many factors that you should keep in mind when looking for the right college or university for you. Colleges are not really that expensive if you are able to discover the right one that would fit your financial needs.
- How to apply for college?
First is to prepare all the necessary documents that you would need for your college application. Some schools require these documents beforehand so they can validate your application. The required documents also differ per school. Usual needs are: Original and photocopy of NSO Authenticated Birth Certificate; Original and Photocopy of Transcript of Records or Certified True Copy of Grades; and the application form with an attached 2×2 photo.
- If my grades are low, does that mean I am not for to go to college?
Definitely not. Some schools require a range of grades as part of the application process while some colleges or universities do not. Having a low grade in senior high or in grade school does not limit your application because there are other schools out there that can accommodate you.

Yes. You should still apply for private universities and do not hesitate as long as they offer scholarships you can apply to. By having a wide range of education choices, you can make sure that you will not be stuck with just one school.
- How do I apply for scholarships?
Scholarships do not demand that you should be at the top of the class or just for the smart ones. There are a lot of factors that can affect your scholarship and all you have to do is to know the right scholarship that would fit your needs.
