Ateneo de Davao University boasts of facilities like an indoor gym, pool, running track, cutting-edge sports complex, auditoriums, student learning hub, multi-leveled libraries and Jesuit’s dormitories in two campuses around Davao City. The construction of junior and senior high school buildings marks the progressive growth of the Ateneo as in institution in the region. Central Mindanao University (CMU) is a public research university located in Maramag, Bukidnon. It is one of the top performing universities in the country with a ranking of 8th in the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) 2011 top universities in the Philippines. In 2012, the university ranked 1st and 9th in the Licensure Examination for Agriculturists and obtained 100% passing rate for Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. CHED has also accredited CMU with Centers of Excellence in Agriculture, Forestry and Veterinary Medicine and Centers of Development in Biology and Mathematics.
