Mariano Marcos State University

Mariano Marcos State University is a public institution in Ilocos Norte. The school is spread across the whole region with campuses located in Batac, Laoag, Currimao, and Dingras. MMSU offers a wide range of disciplines including Medicine, Law, Health Sciences, Agriculture, Aquatic Science, Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, and Teacher Education.

Saint Mary’s University

SMU is one of the oldest universities in Nueva Vizcaya, being founded in 1928. Students can choose from a number of degrees and certificate programs under its 2 schools — Business and Accountancy and Engineering, Architecture and Information Technology. It is also the Provincial Coordinating Center for Nueva Vizcaya and Ifugao of the National Scientific Information Center of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).

University of Northern Philippines

Aside from its heritage village, Vigan also serves as a home to the University of Northern Philippines (UNP). Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University

Consistently producing board topnotchers yearly, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University is known for its excellence in the field of agriculture. In fact, DMMMSU is the Philippines’ training center for Apiculture, where the National Apiculture Research and Training Development Institute is located. Apiculture deals with raising and caring for bees for commercial or agricultural purposes.

Saint Louis University

Located in a six-hectare land in the heart of Baguio City, Saint Louis University is one of the largest schools in North Luzon. Established in 1911, the university has already produced a number of notable alumni including Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen, and Miss International 2015 Kylie Versoza.
