Rotaract Club of Metro Cebu – Cebu Institute of Technology Chapter
This organization is an arm of the Rotary Club of Metro Cebu. It is a socio-civic organization which aims to extend service to the community in general and to the Cebu Institute of Technology in particular. It spearheads many community projects such as the biannual Operation Restore Hope, the annual Christmas Present, Paddle for the Planet, and many more. Membership is open to all bona fide students of CIT-U aged 18-30
Terrestrial and Aquatic Restorations by Students Immersed into Environmental Reforms (TARSIER)- Visayas State University
This student organization located at Visayas State University (VSU) has been recognized as the Best Student Organization for three consecutive years. TARSIER is a TAYO National Award winner for their “strength in synergy while demonstrating the power to serve and help build lives to inspire change among the Filipino youth.” This organization focuses on environmental projects and are active participants in the annual environmental week at VSU.
Fine Arts Student Organization- University of the Philippines Cebu
A student organization at University of the Philippines – Cebu, FASO promotes independent art events that highlight socially relevant issues and brings them to a bigger audience through painting, drawing, and other art forms. Their aim is to give independent artists a platform for their art by organizing monthly art exhibits.
Medical Students’ Association (SUMSA) – Siliman University
SUMSA was considered as Siliman’s best student organization as of AY 2017-2018, and one of the Ten Outstanding Medical Student Organizations (TOMSO) in the Philippines by the Association of Philippine Medical Colleges – Student Network (APMC – SN). The group is known to promote socially relevant movements and projects including their #GO4ther4HealthCampaign.
Institute of Electronics Engineers of the Philippines Inc. – Central Philippine University
Central Philippine University’s IECEP members celebrated a student-given rating of 95.7 during the university’s Annual Evaluation and Exhibits last February 8, 2018. Their ranking earned its members a P10,000 cash prize and the Honor of being the institution’s Best Organization for that academic year. The IECEP is known to be a national, professionally-accredited organization that provides its members with competitive trainings and an avenue for gathering the country’s practicing electronics engineering professionals.
Kadugong Bol-anon – Visayas State University
This organization originated in the University of the Philippines – Diliman, and has since expanded its network. Members of Visayas State University’s Kadugong Bol-anon received the award for Best Regional Organization during the university’s 2017 Honors Ceremony. Founded in 1977 in Diliman, the organization is the first and only one of its kind to promote the Bol-anon heritage (its founding members were UP students from Bohol) as well as the hometown of its members.
