AdDU has 5 undergraduate schools: Arts and Sciences, Business and Governance, Nursing, Engineering and Architecture, and Education. These schools are composed of 46 bachelors degree courses. Meanwhile, students who are pursuing post-graduate studies can choose from the university’s 33 masters and doctorate programs.

The institution is not new to international recognition. From 2015 to 2017, AdDU made it to the 251-300 spot on the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) University Ranking for Asia. The university also ranked in the 101-150 place in the QS World University Subject Ranking for English Language and Literature.

AdDU has 2 Centers of Development (COD) in Information Technology and Teacher Education awarded by the Commission on Higher Education. 3 Bar topnotchers from 2014 (4th placer Gil Garcia II – 84.55%), 2016 (5th placer Justin Ryan Morilla – 88.40%), and 2017 (3rd placer Camille Remoroza – 90.7%).
3 CPA board topnotchers from 2018 (2nd placer Erick Jan Sagot – 91.17%), 2017 (6th placer Kneerizza Neca Casador Embrado – 90.17%), and 2015 (4th placer Shermaine Dianne Mamaed – 91.86%).
4 Architecture board topnotchers from 2018 (8th placer John Paul Morada Aloy – 82.50%), 2017 (6th placer Charisse Jheline Cruda Ang – 82.50%), and 2016 (1st placer Neil John Jalandra Bersabe – 84.50%; 9th placer Krysta Nicole Lio Ledesma – 80.60%).

AdDU Campus life
Student welfare is a top priority at the Ateneo de Davao University. Since dorm living is one of the most important concerns of college students, the school has 4 accredited dormitories spread around the university area that students can choose from.
The university’s vast land area is composed of 12 buildings, providing a conducive learning environment for the students. At present, there are more than 8,000 students enrolled in AdDU together with more than 700 faculty and staff.

To help aspiring students in pursuing their education, students may apply to 54 externally and internally funded scholarship grants such as the Alfonso Yuchenco (AY) Foundation, Inc. scholarship, Metrobank Foundation Scholarship Fund, A1 Scholarship Program, Rev.
