Mindanao Medical Foundation College is a private institution in Davao City founded in 1979. The college is known throughout the region because of its academic excellence. At present, it offers undergraduate courses in Biology, Radiologic Technology, Midwifery, Physical Therapy, Medical Technology, Pharmacy and Nursing. MMFC also has programs in Doctor in Optometry, Doctor of Dental Medicine and is now preparing its curriculum and facilities for the establishment of Doctor of Medicine.
Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc. is one of the country’s leading medical school established in 1976. It is affiliated with the Davao Medical School Foundation Hospital, Davao Doctors Hospital, San Pedro Hospital and Southern Philippines Medical Center.
While the Institute of Primary Health Care (IPHC) is the institution’s official community service arm.
The college provides bachelors degrees in Nursing and Midwifery; masters degrees in Health Professions Education and Community; as well as doctorate courses in Medicine and Dental Medicine. Davao Doctors College is located in Gen. Malvar St., Davao, City. Brokenshire College is a private school related to the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) founded in 1954. The college is recognized by the Commission on Higher Education. Aside from Davao City, Brokenshire College also has another campus located in General Santos City.
