5 Goal Tracker Apps For Your New Year’s Resolutions

If there’s a constant thing in this world, it would probably be breaking new year’s resolutions. Since the start of 2019, you’ve already seen countless “New Year, New Me” tweet on your feed, but how many of these goals are actually kept until till the last month of the year? Sadly, only less than half of them do.

Whether you aspire to save money and travel abroad, get straight As in your class, or learn a new skill or language, the key to achieving them is in regularly checking them so you don’t forget one. Luckily, you don’t have to do it all alone, here are five apps to help with your 2019 goals:

1. Habitica

Playing games on your phone or console can sometimes seem more enjoyable than keeping up with your exercise routines, right? But did you know that there’s an app that lets you do both? Habitica is a mobile app that gamifies your daily tasks to help you stay organized and motivated.

Just input the goal that you want to achieve, and create your custom avatar. Each task that you accomplish will give you XP points to level up. Aside from this, it also has in-game features like magic skills, armors, mysterious pets, and quests! Just be careful though in missing one because it will reduce the health of your avatar (making you accountable!). You can also join other Habiticans in fighting monsters that’ll earn you gold to buy custom rewards.

2. Way of Life

The best way to form a habit is, obviously, doing it consistently. If you’re the type of person who needs to be constantly reminded of things, the Way of Life goal tracker app is the best choice for you! Just jot down your goal and set an alarm for it.

Whether you want to be in bed by 10:00 pm, make your own baon every morning. The app also works on a color scheme where green indicates good habits while color red refers to bad habits. This color-coded system will help you stay on track and spot positive or negative trends in your activities, giving you an idea how’s your New Year’s resolution is going.

3. Remente

If you’re looking for a more holistic approach towards achieving your new year’s resolution, Remente is the perfect app for you. It has a daily planner that allows you to create to-do lists based on your goals which you can tick off once you’re done. Its goal setting feature serves as your life coach that provides tips and guides to help your personal journey.

Aside from this, you can also enjoy its other features such as mood journal, library of articles, and life assessment tool that gives you an overview of your focus in life.

4. HabitBull

Like other goal tracker apps, HabitBull lets you set reminders for each habit that you want to achieve. But what’s different about this app is its home screen widget feature (in case you need a little more push). It also provides motivational images –including actual quotes from people doing it; plus graphs regarding your progress and streaks which you can download as csv file. You can sync it with your laptop, tablet and other gadgets so you won’t miss any task whether you’re at home, school, or at work.

5. Fortune City

Let’s face it, checking on your expenses all the time can be challenging, not to mention boring. But did you know that Fortune City can be a fun way to track them? This app gamifies logging in your daily expenses with a fun city simulation game.

All you have to do is record your expenses, and watch as your city grows into a beautiful metropolis. With just one tap, you can easily track your spending habits and categorize them.
