Terry S.A., Edukasyon.ph, and ICTSI Foundation, Inc. recently signed a partnership agreement to provide incoming senior high school students with scholarship opportunities.
Dubbed as “Walk with Scholars,” the scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to deserving public school students from Olongapo City National High School, Raja Soliman Science and Technology High School and Jose Abad Santos High School in Binondo, Manila, and Bauan Technical High School in Batangas. The grant covers allowances for meals, transportation, school uniform, shoes, books, projects, and other authorized fees.
“We at Terry S.A. believe that education plays a vital role in the success of Filipino families. We also recognize that not all students finish school because of financial constraints. Through the help of Edukasyon.ph and ICTSI Foundation, we are providing financial assistance to deserving incoming Grade 11 students through proceeds from the sales of Havaianas,” said Anne Gonzalez, President of Terry S.A., the exclusive distributor of Havaianas in the Philippines.
Interested students should apply through the online portal Edukasyon.ph from May 7 to 18, 2018. They are also required to submit their application letter with the consent of a parent or guardian, a recommendation from adviser noted by the school principal, a copy of Grade 10 final grades, and Barangay Certificate of Indigence.
All applications submitted through Edukasyon.ph will then be processed by the ICTSI Foundation, a foundation specializing in education, community welfare, and sports programs. ICTSI Foundation will screen applicants based on their academic performance, extracurricular involvement, leadership potential, and financial need.
Terry S.A., Edukasyon.ph, and ICTSI Foundation will work together to make sure that the scholars will be able to move forward in their chosen senior high school tracks.
