Here’s The Edukasyon.ph Wanderfest 2017 Breakdown You Need To Hear

All aboard the #studygoals train! Last May 26-27, Edukasyon.ph, in partnership with Ayala Malls the 30th, held a free international education fair featuring foreign schools and embassies where Filipino students and professionals can look for study abroad opportunities and scholarships as well.

In case you missed it, here is the lowdown on what happened at Wanderfest 2017!

With 32 participating schools and institutions from 14 different countriees, Wanderfest was an intimate affair where over 500 attendees found out about our partner schools’ Undergraduate programs; Postgraduate programs; Tech-voc programs; Exchange programs, and Language programs  that enable you to reach your #studygoals!

Scholarships galore! There were representatives from the British Council,  Embassy of Sweden, Embassy of Australia, and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) ready to show our Wanderers how to get those costs down and possibly be part of their prestigious scholarship awardees.

There were exciting prizes from Mystery Manila, Recipes, Uber, KKDay, and Voyagin for those quick wanderers who were able to  complete their passports. Congrats to Christia Leng for being the lucky winner of our KKDay Gobin Tour Vouchers and to Allany Lenot for being the lucky muggle who won our Voyagin Universal Studios Japan tickets!

And the giveaways don’t end there! If you’re still looking for a way to get to your dream destination, Guatson Travel and Tours is still giving away free round trip tickets to anywhere in the world! Delta Air Lines is also giving away discount vouchers for flights to USA, Canada, and South America.

But the real highlight of the event was the plenary talk with our amazing speakers! Current international students, embassy representatives and even celebrity crushes came to Wanderfest to advise Wanderers on how to live the study abroad dream.

Truly a treat when you’ve got Rappler journalist Natashya Gutierrez, Cluster.ph Editor-in-chief Jenny Rocket, and Endeavor Philippines senior associate Evan Chen , Philippine Rugby Football Union (PRFU) National team head Jake Letts, Marie Curie and Erasmus alumna Jenny Elmasco,  and others showing you the ropes!

Thank you so much everyone for joining us at Wanderfest! Got FOMO? Don’t worry because this is just the beginning of our #wanderful journey – we’ve got Wanderfest part 2 in the works for later this year!
