3 Reasons Why You Should Attend the CAMP Study Abroad Conference

The CAMP Study Abroad Conference is an annual conference that will help you learn the ins and outs of studying abroad. Read on to find out why you should totally attend this August 5!

1. Learn how to apply to schools abroad

The CAMP Study Abroad Conference will offer talks on studying abroad and all the processes that are involved with it. If you’re a high school student, even just the thought of applying abroad can be incredibly daunting, and what more so the various processes you must go through? And if you don’t have access to adviser support, it makes it harder. CAMP makes what is seemingly a difficult process much less scary by providing study abroad guidance to students like you, making the process from start to finish much clearer.

2. Meet representatives from schools abroad

Did you know that the CAMP Study Abroad conference will also include a college fair? Yep, that’s right! Go and meet representatives from schools abroad and ask them all the questions you have. You can learn valuable information from these representatives on their schools firsthand that you wouldn’t simply be able to find online. Remember that these representatives won’t always be around here in the Philippines, so take your chance to find out all you can from them!

3. Find your study abroad mentor

Sometimes, your study abroad questions can’t be answered just by googling them. If you’ve found yourself with that problem, then you’re in luck! At the CAMP study abroad conference, you can find and meet your study abroad mentor – that one person who can guide you through the study abroad processes and answer your very specific questions. People who have either studied abroad or have experience in that area aren’t always easy to find. These fellow students can offer much help and advice on not just applying to schools, but also on matters such as living in a foreign country.

The CAMP Study Abroad Conference will be held on August 5 at St. Paul College Pasig. If you’ve been convinced to go, be sure to register here before you go!
