Nowadays, employees seem to have more fun in the office rather than at home. Brightly colored bean bags, nerf guns, and unheard of benefits are changing the conversation on the way things are done in the business world. The catalyst? Millennials and startups.
Startups have imposed an office culture that has challenged the norm and have attracted millennials from all parts of the world. These days, companies are coming up with creative benefits to attract incoming generations. One great example of these companies is Dropbox, who offers employees unlimited time off!
The need to attract millennials is certainly leading this trend and it all comes from the desire to do work that matters and having work benefits that go well with their values. This shows that happy employees are productive employees and millennials care about something greater than just earning money. It’s a lot more specific than that.
