Want to Study in Asia, Australia, or New Zealand? With Wanderfest, You Can!

Is it part of your goal to study in Asia, Australia or New Zealand this year? You have a chance to pursue those dreams next weekend!

Whether you want to make new friends abroad or simply want to take your education in a completely different environment, studying abroad can be a fun life-changing experience for anyone! Who wouldn’t want to take cultural trips around Asia or explore New Zealand along with its mountainous regions? Meeting new people and delving into cultures outside your own means a lot of new things to learn, and now you can have a chance to be part of that journey!

Edukasyon will hold its recurring Wanderfest International Education Fair, a two-day offline initiative that connects Filipino students with opportunities to study abroad. The first leg on April 5, Friday, will take place at the University of the Philippines Diliman Engineering Lobby in Quezon City, while the second leg is set for the City Garden Grand Hotel in Makati City on April 6, Saturday.

Both fairs will be open to the public from 1PM to 5PM.

With Wanderfest, students, educators, parents, and young professionals can meet a range of international higher education institutions and inquire about their courses, programs, and scholarship opportunities. Edukasyon has also invited its partner institutions based in Asia, Australia, or New Zealand.

Among the exhibiting schools are Hult International Business School, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, and Chisholm Institute.

Speakers who are international education experts will conduct talks and share their stories at the fair, to help participants plan their study abroad journey. Included in the roster of speakers are UKEAS PH Education Counselor Anton Siddayao, former Hong Kong Baptist University Business Communications Teacher Patricia Matias, Education and Development Advocate Jenica Licerio, and University of the Philippines Diliman professor Amparo Adelina C. Umali III, PhD.

Wanderfest is a free event and will be open to all students and young professionals hoping to take their education abroad. Parents and educators are also welcome to attend.

Interested participants can register through Wanderfest’s Eventbrite page. Walk-ins are also allowed but priority will be given to participants who already applied online.
