Where Do LMU Students Go After Graduation?

Loyola Marymount University, also known as the University of Silicon Beach greatly values what their students do after graduation.  LMU believes that their success is determined by what their students achieve outside of the confines of their academic institution. The school refers to this as real-world outcomes and with the data gathered from the 2017 batch, it can be easily said that Loyola Marymount University takes immense pride from its graduates! 

Loyola Marymount University offers 60 major and 55 minor undergraduate degrees and programs, among others. This goes to show that LMU graduates can go into a wide array of fields and industries. 

For LMU batch 2017, 75% of their graduates went straight to work while 20% continued higher education through graduate school. Most of their working graduates (87%) went straight to private companies and 6% went to non-profit organizations while 4% went to government institutions. 

A few examples of these companies are Riot Games, Linkedin, Warner Bros. Inc, Proctor & Gamble, HBO, Oracle, Mashable, Raytheon, Ticket master, and the Los Angeles Clippers! 

While others are busy starting careers in well-known companies, some of their batchmates went on to take higher studies. LMU graduates went to Yale, Duke University, Berkeley, Harvard Medical School, and The London School of Economics and Political Science! 

Most LMU graduates earn an average of $40k-$50k! Though a good number also earn around $60k! LMU graduates are known to enter the working world with an advantage to demonstrate what they have learned both professionally and financially. This makes LMU graduates in demand throughout the Los Angeles area and in all parts of the world!
