The New Era University (NEU) is a private higher education institution in the Philippines. The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) runs the university. NEU was established to provide education to INC members. However, the school is also open for students who are not members of the INC. If you’re planning to pursue your education at the New Era University, here are some facts you might want to know:

Since its establishment in 1975, the New Era University has expanded its school locations. At present, NEU has five campuses located in the different parts of the Philippines:

3. New Era University has a wide range of programs.

The New Era University offers a number of academic courses for the students. The school has 16 undergraduate programs and 2 graduate schools. These programs include:

The New Era University conducts outreach programs and community extension services. These programs aim to promote literacy for indigent students. The Tuloy Aral Program (TAP) is an educational program for adults and out-of-school-youth with modules provided by the Department of Education (DepEd).

4. New Era University strives for academic excellence.

In 2013, NEU won the Marketista Awards organized by the Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA). PJMA also named New Era Junior Marketing Association (NEJMA) under the College of Business Administration as the country’s top junior marketing association for 2013.

5. New Era University owns the Philippine Arena.

The New Era University owns the Philippine Arena, the world’s largest indoor arena. This multipurpose indoor arena can hold up to a maximum of 55,000 spectators. The structure was also awarded as the best sports project in Asia in 2013 by World Finance.
